SENDAI, MIYAGI―We are going to have a photo exhibit at Nagamachi Yuraku An Bistari.
We are going to have a photo exhibit, “Flowers of Fukushima” from April 11 at Bistari, a café in Nagamachi, Sendai.
Time goes by very slowly in the traditional house built 125 years ago. I could have looked at the vaulted ceiling and the roof beam forever.
I heard that, although there were air-raids in the area in front of Sendai station, the area around Nagamachi was undamaged by World War II and it still has some traditional houses.
This café is attractive in that it serves great dishes and always offers wonderful concerts. It also provides disabled people opportunities to support themselves.
We are busy with a number of things in the Spring. Please come drop by when you have a chance to visit Nagamachi, Sendai to relax.
