We are having a photo exhibit at Shinchi-machi Library in the northern part of Hamadori, starting today.
A person who saw this photo of Benthamidia japonicas told us “There are many Benthamidia japonicas in Zao as well.
This white thing is not a petal but a calyx.”
Everyone tells us a story when they see flowers of familiar vegetables, such as common beans and pumpkins.

Shinchi-machi was damaged by the tsunami. The train is going to open there in 2017.
Please use buses or the JR alternative buses when you come by public transportation from Sendai area.

The exhibit of all 26 works will continue for three weeks starting today.
Please come see it.
